  3. This file contains important information on the NetBSD 1.3.2 release
  4. that did not make it into the main documentation.

  8.   Security holes were discovered in the uucpd and dhcpd daemons after
  9.   the release was frozen.  Patches for these programs are provided in
  10.   ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.3.2/source/patches/.  These
  11.   programs are NOT enabled by default.

  15.   The "etc" set contains the file "/var/cron/tabs/root". People
  16.   upgrading from an older NetBSD version should be aware that this
  17.   file should be backed up before the upgrade. Unfortunately, the
  18.   install may overwrite it. This affects installation using the
  19.   "sysinst" program, used, for example, on the i386.

  21.   Architectures using ISA buses, in particular Ethernet cards: please
  22.   note that the "ed" ethernet driver has been split up into several
  23.   drivers. An ethernet interface that used to have the name "ed"
  24.   will now either be called "ne", "ec" or "we". Please refer to
  25.   the "Supported Hardware" section to find out which is applicable.

  29.   Please note that the Ariadne Ethernet card uses now the generic lance
  30.   ethernet driver. An ethernet interface that used to have the name "ae"
  31.   will now be called "le".  Configuration files such as "hostname.ae0"
  32.   should be updated to the new name.
